I am a comparative and international political economist and an associate professor of international relations at Thomas Jefferson University – East Falls Campus (formerly, Philadelphia University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. At TJU East Falls, I am part of the College of Humanities and Sciences and teach the following courses: Global Politics, The Global Economy, and Contemporary Global Issues. I also teach international economics/finance courses in the School of Business at TJU East Falls.
My research is mainly in international and comparative political economy, which are fields within the disciplines of international relations and political science. My research focuses on the interplay between economic and political forces at the international and domestic levels. I undertake theoretically-grounded empirical research using both quantitative and qualitative methods on the topics of global competition laws (antitrust laws), international currency reserves, foreign investments, and trade disputes at the WTO.
